Bad Dream Poem by Marilyn White

Bad Dream

I have got the taste of a bad dream in my mouth
The words I never wanted to hear again ringing in my hear
I feel as numb as I want to be
Maybe by tomorrow I will forget
Everything that to do with you
That I am making you a memory
Because I am tired of being sick
Losing sleep not being able to concentrate
I have things I need to do to get by
I can’t have you worrying on my mind
Because if it was meant to be you would be here
Right now I need to try and help myself
But before I do that I need to help some one else
Yeah I know that sounds dumb and cruel
If they where to die I don’t what I would do
They are my rock when it gets rough
The shinning star when I get lost
Eventually I will find myself again
When the pain goes away for good
And I wake up from this bad dream
