Bad Korterbak! Poem by Barry Van Allen

Bad Korterbak!

Rating: 5.0

Go sit on the bench George,
please don't help us anymore,
we've had all the help that we can stand,
... we don't need another war.

Go sit on the bench George,
ride out your last six months,
your legacy is what it is,
take your team off to the sidelines,
... sometimes you have to punt.

Don't throw the interception George,
you have done all that you can do,
because it won't look right to anyone,
if your team-mates tackle you!

Go be happy back in Texas George,
and pretend that you done well,
... build a 'Liberry' in Crawford George,
and let us climb out of this hell.

I know I'm being tough on you,
and you deserve it some,
... but you got us through the last 12 years,
without any ' NEW-KUE-LUR ' bombs.

(Well, it seemed like 12 years!)
