Baghdede A Sweet Town Poem by Majid Gaggi

Baghdede A Sweet Town

You will go back to your nice times
As you was shine and luster
It was never a great fall to death
But it was a slight fall
You will stand up and you rise from it
And it will return your nice days
By your jealousy people with their ardor
Your bells will ring again saying
It returns back the sweaty and pretty bride
Your crosses will remain a great sign
Standing high in your clear sky
They are signs and banners of joy and life
Through them the evil was broken and exalted
This speech and saying will not last
The strange man expels the original man
Original person remains expelled from his home
The stranger will be the owner remains of the land
This who came from a distant and nomadic
It will stay extended from the drinking well(*)
To the Moqrtayah Monastery(*)
And from Karmlish(*) at the east
To Mar Behnam(*) way at the west
You will be rebuilt by your people
They make you a beautiful bright bride
Your life spring will remain flow
From now to forever
Congratulations to you people of baghdida
For returning to you this nice and sweat city
And this blessed and flat land
