In this prison i call my own.
When it feels the walls are closing in.
I look to the sky for a glimpse of beauty and life.
Remember your choices forgiven, dwelling in a past i still regret.
And when it seems I lost it all; you remind me of believing in tomorrow. In the times you found me bruised and lost; I had no choice but to stand on my feet. Denying a pain which wont cease. My friend who led me to who i want to be. Still, I cant believe that in a place I've never understood. I find the only person who brings out in me the comfort only faith reveals. Holding onto a time ive never seen.
We both cant deny you arent a part of me.
Simple as it can be sentimental is only what you mean. cause in my life, the days let go.
By now its been far too long to assume you feel the same.
I can only tell you what i've felt for so long. In this world; everyone's in search of something to be there to test dedication.
And with every step, i fall apart.
Through my eyes, you taught me all i need to know.
And i know now.
you are my leader, and at times my adversary.
You are my fear, and at times my inspiration.
No one could apprecitate you more than i can.
you changed my life more than you'll ever know.
