Bandana Poem by Kaeim Latrom

Bandana

Rating: 5.0

I said, 'don't be afraid,
I'm here, don't be scared'
But those scenes and the screams,
it's not leaving my head.
Who knew this was written on her fate?
hair was wet, birthday date, locked gate,
impatient, she just couldn't wait.
Assuming time was running late
but she just made them upset.
Jumping over the fence,
how can her mind be that dense?

She got stuck,
she lost her luck.
None can really explain,
the air heavy with tense,
on the verge of losing their sense.
Body little numb,
her decision was dumb.
Now she is crying in pain
with the wound that's insane.
It all passed by in a blink,
splashing water by the sink.

We could just hold on tight
after that startling sight and
the fear which we couldn't fight
It wasn't all just a dream
since the car was on its way
taking her somewhere, away
to make sure if she shall be okay
and all we could do was pray
What more.do I even say?
That morning, that day,
6: 30, second of may.
