Bandit Poem by moon dust

Bandit

A darkened spiral churning my mind
Seems you drifted in just time
We partied hard and made what we thought was love

Two lonely souls been broken
Bodies beaten, hearts stolen
Emptiness we came together
You lied and told stories of how life could be better

I've been on the edge of death
Brushed hands with satan
But you pulled me into you
I thought you were someone I could believe in

Two lonely souls beaten
Bodies broken, hearts fell open on the floor
Like a bandit in the night
Stealing in before mornings light
You blew over my despair
You gave me air.
