Rolling in riches,
As far as the eye can see-
Making a snow angel
on the ground
covered in diamonds
from my head to my feet
rolling in riches
as far as the eye can see
What if someone catches me?
rolling on the ground
laughing at the edge of town
in my pajamas and robe no less
barefoot in the snow,
eyes all aglow-
Cheeks so rosy,
cold, not cozy.
Dad does not approve
but what is the to prove?
that I am grown -
who cares, I say-
have you forgotten play?
tis the child in me
who stays
making a snow angel today
rolling in riches
as far as the eye can see
God sees from heaven
and smiles at me
He is pleased with my play
In the snow he sent my way
it brings joy to His heart,
I'm sure
that I have the nerve
for childhood play
covered in diamonds from head to feet!
so harken!
everyone-
the fun has just begun!
the Father loves to watch his children play.
So go out in the snow today
all across the world
every boy and girl
go roll in riches as far as the eye can see!
