You wanted to see me barefoot on the lane.
But today I am wearing sneakers,
The lane is covered with asfalt - Oh what a pain!
But there is stiil yellow stripe on my boot to leak it.
You are welcome to licking even my very sole,
and I know for sure - this feeling is what you're seeking.
So it's up to you to decide upon -
but I'd like your tongue to remain clean for our kissing.
You wanted to be romantic! I couldn't catch!
But now I get the point - that's two rivers fleeting.
Then I became irritated like angry hag,
But it means: I walk on the ground that you are licking.
Yesterday - when you called it - there was the sun.
I even thought that you were a scary magician.
Why not to cleanse our lives by innocent hug?
I'm vessel for you to fill up, like God fills - a creature.

Wow! I don't want to make a statement that seems too exaggerated to be true, so let me just say: THIS IS MY FAVORITE POEM OF SUMMER OF 2016! ! I just love its sincerity, its humor, its wonderful celebration of togetherness. I like INNOCENCE as the topic. And that is echoed in the closing image: WHY NOT CLEANSE OUR LIVES BY AN INNOCENT HUG? Why not! I'm convinced. This is your parallel poem to my O AND E poem. You are barefoot in this poem just as I described Eurydice on the lane. Your poem makes me happy! I won't debate my choice of words. Happy identifies my present mood and it will take something really bad to dispel. I don't see that happening. Liza, you're the sweetness of life.
