Barfly… - Poem by Mark Heathcote
No one sees me—no one must care
I've been here a long, long time now
I've got no friends at the local bar
I must be invisible—what do I care
I've nobody who loves me, anyhow...
Then by chance meeting, I fall in love
She was an angel, gave me my serenity.
Now I'm by her side, I'm full of mush
And biochemically always, in a rush…
To see her again, accidentally.
