Barn Paintings Poem by Marilyn Lott

Barn Paintings

Rating: 5.0

Many wonderful paintings
Are on his office wall
Paintings of amazing barns
So many he recalls

Over there is a barn
So old and tattered with age
It put many good years in
In its healthy sturdy stage

A snow scene is in one
It’s beautiful with its theme
Yes, such beauty artfully painted
In a frozen winter scheme

Ah, look, there is a red barn
Round is its unique style
Wouldn’t you love to sit
And admire it for just awhile?

There is nothing quite like paintings
Of barns from long ago
He sits and smiles with wonder
Because he loves them so!

This is a warm, sweet poem. I love noticing the barns, driving out in the country..but the country keeps retreating farther away! (smile)
