Barolo Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Barolo

Barolo

On bottle I noted:
“This is gift”
Too simple: “don’t drink.”
I love it and cherish
Sample of behaviour and culture
‘New Brunswick’.

I drive my own car,
Franchise-driver
Flex time, chit-chat, talk
Passengers, laugh, smile
(And frown)
But always learn and learn.

Two ladies
Came from, the New, Brunswick
“I was there with Mi'kmaq and Irish…”
I told them and opened chest of chest
“My best time…you can say…
Acadian history, and people, and lobster.”

At time-end I saw hand extended
“This is yours, ” insisted
Wine bottle she gifted.

Carrying passengers is lovely if able
I love the, sharing with passengers
Humble life, down to earth.

Barolo is one of examples.
