Bastard Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Bastard

Bastard

I recall my childhood
And do so very well
Worst curse was:
"You bastard! "

Had meaning:
"Unlawful"
"Illicit"

Such person meant to be
Brutal and worthless
Also a ‘without heart'
And careless!

I wondered and wonder
On the side of mother
Can it be prostitute or a whore?

Later on
I grew to learn of politics
As bearer of bastards;
They have hands on buttons
Of the bombs
And live in Black-White
Big and large
Palaces and Houses!

Mother left London to
Stop in Istanbul
She wants deal for money…

Truly is a whore!

Her child sits in White House
Turns his pen brutal
Bombs home, makes refugees
Then kills and rejects them!

Bravo to ‘Bastard'
Illicit, unlawful
With power.
