Bathing In The Falls Poem by james watkin

Bathing In The Falls

Back up a brook's length
Of an indwelling
Sweet nymph's compelling
Subtle, wooed. For why?
"A private cove's there
Vaporous with mirth.
Thousand of us birth
Out of a green sky."

In that sensual font
Of silks' undressing
Or locks' impressing
Long held in the comb
Yes; twas so. Fair ones.
Ah! Wrapped in that lure
One sheeny creature.
One to wive! Lead home.
