Battles Within Poem by Deepak Calyampoondi

Battles Within

Rating: 4.0

The glory gone past,
of the "Vanshis",
Remain in history,
But new stories happen.

The betrayal of the self-less,
Threaten to conquer your fortress of peace,
Driving you to,
Another one-way street.

But the victorious claim this,
Peace from within,
Helped by a soldier called 'self-discipline',
Untainted by any bloody sin.

The battle-feild lures,
The Mind to indulge,
In forbidden games,
And another brave "Rajput" is on his way.
