Be Careful Poem by Raimi Babatunde

Be Careful

Come in peace
You'll get tranquility
Give me flakes
I'll reciprocate with strawberry
But if you give me a fight
I'll give you war
For, I am war

As a Lion tears a prey
They tear you apart
With their accursed opening called mouth
Oozing with stenched odours
They wait to maim and decapitate you
But who can curse whom Jah has Blessed?

I might not be indabosky pahose
I don't need you to validate me
Because I bear a mark of Christ
That makes me a "Touch me not"
So, "Egungun, be careful"
But if you still want to try
I wish you Luke 19: 27
You have been advised
