In 100 years, that is 2126, every one of us will be DEAD. We will rest alongside our friends and every family member you know. The conversations we had, the places we visited, and the daily routines that seem so important today will belong to history.
200 years from now, that is 2226, NO ONE will remember us. Even our descendants will have lost all knowledge of our names and stories. Our faces, voices, achievements, and failures will have faded entirely from human history. The things that consume our thoughts today, the mistakes we regret, the opinions we fear, and the judgments we try so hard to avoid will no longer matter. Time has a way of reducing even the greatest concerns to SILENCE.
If everything eventually fades, then perhaps we have been freer than we realized all along. Maybe life was never meant to be a desperate pursuit of recognition or remembrance.
Maybe true purpose is found in the simple act of living fully, loving deeply, showing kindness, creating meaningful moments, and embracing the brief gift of our existence while we have it.
In the end, a life well lived may matter far more than a life that is merely remembered.
