Dannielle Smedley Poems

Her mind is like a hurricane,
Her heart is broken glass,
It will never be the same.
With a sore inside the soul,
...

My heart is on the floor
I cannot feel a single thing
No more.
...

The way he looks at her is so sweet.
She's a girl, he definitely wants to keep.
The way he talks about her tells me,
That he wants them to last forever,
...

Look into the mirror, tell me what you see.
Look into the mirror, tell yourself you're beautiful,
And that you always will be.
Look into the mirror and love your reflection,
...

My love for you is as boundless as the sea,
My love for you is what’s weakening me.
My love for you is like a river,
So wild and blue.
...

Don’t fight fire with fire,
Show her your love,
Show her that she’s your sweetest desire.
...

There’s so much terror in her eyes,
She can’t help but to cry,
Her head is spinning; she knows she’s losing this battle, not winning.
She stares at her reflection in the mirror as she softly whispers
...

You’re my angel;
An angel that no one can see,
An angel,
that is here with me.
...

He was depressed,
So was she,
She tried to help him,
He tried to help her,
...

I was always so sad,
I was always so mad,
I thought that this was the end,
That I had no friends.
...

It’s a crazy world we live in,
The darkness,
The cold,
It’s so brutal.
...

Have you ever noticed
Seasons represent our life?
Spring is when we're born,
Our first breath of air,
...

They always say 'build a bridge and get over it'
Whenever we're down,
When we can't even pick ourselves up,
From off the ground.

Dannielle Smedley Biography

Hi! My name's Dannielle, and I'm a 15 year old girl who has loved writing since I was 6 years old. Just a few months ago I wrote my first ever poem, and I then continued to write more. I usually would write stories, but poems are just so beautiful too! If you would all take a look at my poems I'd be truly grateful! (:)

An Unbearable Touch Of Pain

Her mind is like a hurricane,
Her heart is broken glass,
It will never be the same.
With a sore inside the soul,
All her secrets begin to unfold.
The darkness torments her,
Things will never be how they were.
She feels so weak,
She can barely speak.
Her body is a cabinet,
Of great grief,
And a lot of sadness.
All she ever sees,
Is darkness,
No birds, no people,
No trees.
Her ego had corrupted,
Her entire life
Was destructed.
