Be still my heart,
Cease your reckless beating,
Why should you be so frantic,
Over every single meeting?

Don't pound away,
Over every look and glance,
And though he holds you closely,
You still must wait for romance,

Don't cry my heart,
The waiting will not be long,
We must have patience,
So others don't think us wrong,

Please don't break,
While you are in his care,
He'll keep you safe and loved,
I know you shall not tear,

Be strong my heart,
Don't worry about adversity,
Problems we shall face together,
With him, I leave your key,

Smile with joy!
Our love shall survive,
I know he'll love us truely,
With him we shall thrive,

Be still my heart,
Rest with him and know,
That you are always loved,
And he'll never let you go
