Be thankful for this day
With its joys and challenges
Be thankful for this morning
Whether it suns or rains
Be thankful for this night
Whether peaceful or not
Be thankful for tomorrow
When it becomes today
Be not thankful for what is not
For it is not
Be thankful for this breath
For next breath may not come.
