Be Who You Are - Poem by Tatjana Stamenkovska

Put balm on the wound
not vinegar to heal.
Don’t laugh to the someone else pain
tomorrow maybe you will feel
on your own skin.

Give bread to the beggar
and good worth
don’t sneer him.
Like your close one
will give his hand to you.

Smile on the sadness
and she will go away faster
Don’t rejoice to much
on the happiness,
for she to last longer.

When will offend you
don’t put down your glance
lift up over the insult.
However you worth
much more than her.

Love the others
but don’t forget
to love your self
because you will forget
what love really means.

Don’t dream other life’s
live your own one
with open eyes.
If you over sleep the premiere
there is no reprise.

Be your self,
and let love you
that one who
really loves you
for who you are.
