Beach Poem by Robert Melliard

Beach

Rating: 5.0

The beach came back to life today,
from dreary weeks of clouds and rain.
Kids who'd seen their summer washed away
ran out with footballs, kites and spades,
and jumped and ran and played and swam
and did their best to compensate,
as quick young children can,
for bright time stolen.
