Beatify Poem by Michael Timothy Rose

Beatify

I want to beatify your
Unusual solarium soul.
Play soft, mellow music
That caresses words that,
In turn, caresses hearts
and slows the wandering
somber, vagabond feet.

…To turn you bright yellow,
And learn your love
In open bars and coffee houses
That we will catch eyes in
And reminisce in years later
After the blush is gone,
But we are not,
And we still dance together by the rhythm and by the song
That I strum
And you sing,
That we live under and begin under
All because you had shown me the sun.
