Beautiful Poem by Jason Jackson

Beautiful

Take a deep breath and visualise,
take a minute to allow your chest to rise,
bake me a memory or a happy thought,
lay down in a meadow and smile

Bricks and mortar hide a lie
raised voices, make us cry
frustration at the modern age,
piano strings and the modus cage

Chew colour and smell the perfume,
Keep your head down, looking at your phone
ignore the world around you, breathe faster
Beauty, has passed you by.
