Beautiful Dreams Poem by Payyton Egerstaffer

Beautiful Dreams

Rating: 3.8

Her dreams are beautiful
They are magical
They speak of a time where love is true
And everyone is no longer blue
They tell her to do something with her life
To throw away the knife
She abides by her dreams
But she was torn down as it seems
They told her she would never make it
And she’d better quit
She did as she was told
Her sanity she could no longer hold
She was damaged beyond repair
She was almost as invisible as air
