Beautiful Ugliness - Poem by natalie vail

What is beauty? What does beauty mean?
What is cute? What does cute mean?
What is elegance? What does elegance mean?

What is ugly? What does ugly mean?
What is hideous? What does hideous mean?
What is grotesque? What does grotesque mean?

Why do we need these adjectives?
Why do we need cute?
If we have beauty, then we have to have ugly.
Nothing is ugly or grotesque.
Everything looks different but is still the same no matter what.
There is no beautiful or ugly.
We are not the people to judge what is right or wrong, bad or good, or beautiful or ugly.
Never judge something from its looks.
A beautiful rose always has its ugly thorns.
Judging causes war and suffering.
