Can one poor rich man,
castle and all,
get blessed in time enough?
To love and be loved?
God's miracle,
He sends from Heaven above?
For that man was still,
as yet unchanged,
unloved within his home.
Pleading God's mercy,
still estranged,
his lands no more to roam.
And what of young Belle,
that pure delight,
whose smiles shone as pure gold?
Could she save his heart,
and end his plight,
as true love's tale got told?
She ventured into
his prized domain,
a servant, nothing more,
Not knowing there was
sweet love to gain
to thrill her to the core!
It's true, she trembled
at that first glance,
and yet by faith she knew,
If she permitted
one joyful dance,
who knows what God could do?
She gently thought best,
to match God's love,
with tenderness of heart,
And in this manner,
she rose above
all doubts to stay apart.
Such are affections,
meant to occur,
to stir the wayward's path,
Until the beast stood,
without the fur,
rejoicing with a laugh.
True love is worthy
of good report,
just like a perfect rose,
Because it transforms
Man's every thought,
so that true love then grows!
