Beauty Of The Still Night Poem by Jayita Bhattacharjee

Beauty Of The Still Night

Rating: 5.0

I am the soul, with a feast of lights
I am the stream, flowing with ease
Streaming with songs.
The sun of eternal light, I hold in my soul.
The night of twinkling delight
is lit with a feast of stars,
that I behold in the sky, my soul holds.

The dew of night sits on my lips,
Glistening drops in the still dark,
The tender flow, and freshness flowers
in my soul in the quiet hour.
Peace flows gently in my deep.

The divine sweets now bloom in full,
In the heart of dark, a mystery unfolds,
What was raggy, turned into a rose.
There I find, the seed of joy, a new opening,
Like waves, it rushes, longing for me.

Around me, a music I hear,
Deep among the woods.
The leaves stir, rustling to my ears.
In my depths, the light flows,
and I too, hold the dew of joy,
the tender glitters in the still dark.

Gathering the laughter in my soul,
Fully I flower, deep inside.
The dew of heaven watered my soul.
This I offer at the altar of God,
A flower forming in my depths.

I am the soul sky of mingling spirits, I am the running stream of compassion, the very first lines attracted me very much.

Dews of utterance come to my lips, Drops of truth churning serenity, Glistening rivulets of purity, And truth flow from the lips; This embedded divine secret, divine secret. all your poems are marvellous poetry. pure and fine in execution and in content. tony
