Bebita Poem by Black on Black Arts

Bebita

We were friends and lovers.
I wasn't supposed to love you.
Against my own advice I did.
It was hard not to.
When you smiled at me
all my pain went away.
Like drift wood my feelings got carried away.
When you hurt, I hurt
Crying on my shoulders,
your tears gave me chills,
I could feel your pain.
Our good times lost in time
Purgatory
I knew one day I would have to let you go.
But in my heart you will
always be.
So I smile knowing that you're happy.
And sad knowing that you're not here with me.
If you love someone set them free.
One day you will come back to me.
Te'amo
Bebita
Until we meet again.
