Because Poem by Alicia Rose

Because

Rating: 5.0

Because you asked me to get you another beer
Because you told me to 'get outta here'
Because I was always 'in your hair'
Because I'd give you an evil glare
Just because I wouldn't listen
Just because my tears didn't glisten
Just because you'd always yell
All because I was in your hell
Just because I always cried
Just because you wished I had died
Because you were my father
And because I was your daughter
Because I thought you loved me
But you'd always shove me
You told me I was out of place
And you called me a big disgrace
Then one day I had enough
And I said 'quit this stuff'
Just because you'll never listen
Just because you were never there
I'll no longer be...'in you hair'
