Because Poem by Randy McClave

Because

I knew her from her smile
I didn't have to think for a while,
But, I knew instantly who that she was
And it was just because.

I saw the twinkling in her eyes
She then did realize,
Who exactly that I was
And it was all just because

We both then let out a sigh
As we remembered just then and why,
What that we once was
Then it was all just because.

It was because of me
And it was because of her we agree,
It was who that we once was
In the end, it was just because.
