Every single day in life
From birth, I do breathe and feed,
Excrete, brush, wash and clean
comb, change, mend and learn
look up, check up and tidy up nonstop,
transact and interact till death
Because, that's what mother taught me
To my query ‘why', she said
"You just can't be without"
I now know, thanks to you mother
that's how its ought to be!
Wonder why we need a special day
to say ‘I love you mother'!
This special day plus
all the rest of the days
I meet her gracefully, in hearts
thro' all my life activities
