Beer Is His God. Poem by Marcondes Pereira

Beer Is His God.

I lost again, I'm a prisoner of your call.
Due to a beer... Did I lose my chance?
Now, I face the boring circunstance
While I have watched without action my own fall.
I served to your desires
I was blinded by a crazy dream and a sadistic fire.
My head hurts and I feel a bitter taste..
Seconds of happiness and unreality,
Hours of emptiness and cold reality,
I threw away another day of my fate.
