Before you came along I lived a terrible life.
You came soon enough to keep me from the knife.
And now that you're here, I don't want to let you go.
You mean the world to me, I just thought you should know.
You are perfect in every way.
I was willing to do anything so that you could stay.
But even to us bad things can happen.
Now, waiting to see you, it's hard to imagine.
If feels like forever since you've been away.
Crying my sorrowful tears, day after day.
I never knew I could hurt like this.
A feeling inside with no hope of bliss.
But I know I'll someday be back in your arms.
With the love of my life, I can not be harmed.
