Before I Die Poem by Colonel Muhamad Khalid Khan

Before I Die

Before I Die
Please embrace me, before I die
Give solace to my soul to fly
I know my abode is in the sky
Let me touch you before I cry

I wanted to have you in time
Innocent wish turned to crime
I needed you in my real prime
But your beauty makes sublime

Death is a truth one can't deny
Let me see you with open eye
My sweetheart do not feel shy
All rules of love let me to defy
