I walked in her shadow unseen and unknown,
I watched her move softly with grace all alone,
My heart dancing quickstep, in presence not,
I surround her, I follow, I enter her sleep,
She knows naught of me, yet remembers me well
She catches me gently, a sound on the boards,
A scent in the breeze, a whisp on the cheek
Remember my love as I fade away,
But live for tomorrow and not yesterday,
For I have a place, where I must go.
