Before It Pass Away Poem by Emmanuel Joseph Olumakiss

Before It Pass Away

Before it pass away;
Show me how much you care
And the reason you insist I stay
Tell me why keep to your faith
Why real when so many are fake?
Come close my love and explain
For I've known this for years
How love exist
The times it hardly last
The moment its full of breath
And the period it smell so nice
The hour it relinquish her taste
When upheaval or tempest came
Will this eyes be soaked with rain?

Before it pass away;
Do show me truly you care
Why am I the one you choose to date
Among many gorgeous mates
Do teach me the soothing words that would bring your anger to quench
Do lead me to your entire heart so I will be sure forever exist

For feelings do fade
And lovers hate
For weather do change
Forever is it a mirage?

Before it pass away;
Revive in me the burning greed
For I've got more reasons to be in a haste
Rekindle my soul with love overdose
For tomorrow might come with a different face

How far will forever reach?
When next are we going to meet?
I am sick of playing in a different league
Honey please propose to me with a ring

Do not let this love pass me by
Neither allow it strangled by wave of goodbye
Many have always desired you in their arm
Hoping they'd take you off my hand
Whatever price it may take
I pray you don't give this heart a break.
