Before Shave Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Before Shave

Before shave

Everyday, before shave
-look at me in mirror
-hair, curly, unmanaged
-puffy eyes and wrinkled.

Sort of mad, laugh at me
-feel sorry for woman
-next to me; if any! ! !

Ring in head the news
-from past to today.
-Remember Africa…
-Blacks were the preys
-entrapped and hunted
-then shackled and taken
- (parents, kids separate)
-and shipped to USA,
-to be sold as slaves! ! !

I return to mirror
-see my eyes are reddened
-streams of tears…

See the same USA
-now being the centre
-for same act of terror!

In mass are children
-hunted and arrested
-sent to tents and cages!

What to call the devil
-behind rules and orders?

A Hitler? Bin Laden?
Franco? Stalin?
Murderer?

No, no, no
-he is an elected planner
-to sow seed for another "ISIS"!
