Beginnings Poem by A. David Abraham

Beginnings

Rating: 5.0

Today when I woke up
Walked around
Felt the concrete
Everything felt new

The way it did when
I was a child - 8 or 9

Walking around
Experiencing Life
"Smelling" the air
"Feeling" the ground

It was re-birth
Renewal
Unexpected

Softness of a flower in the air
Now I was feeling it
Again

God is good
This is all
I can say

He's magnanimous, wondrous
Awe-inspiring

There is no "No",
No "Impossible", no "Never"
Nothing beyond his grasp
Nothing outside of his
Perfect will

When you're walking
It comes to mind
Again....and again and again

God is good

He gives, He takes away
He gives again
In newness and abundance
