Behind The Mask Poem by Paige Quill

Behind The Mask

Rating: 3.0

You see straight through my mask,
And you don't seem to mind the brokenness I've tried so hard to hide.
Feeling both liberated and vulnerable when you look at me,
Words meant to live behind closed lips slide through,
It's too easy to bear my soul to you.
I have to be careful now, I can't let you see anymore.
