Behind The Smile Poem by Derry Dose

Behind The Smile

I'm innocent is all they know,
my darkened side is very low.
it's hidden beneath my dying heart,
my thoughts are like a speedy cart.
I fool the people who live with me,
I'm confident I will be free.
someday this drama of innocence will stop,
I will protect myself from being flop.
this two faced human is what you should fear,
if you don't then I will bring out every tear.
kill the ones who I hate,
or maybe I should murder those who are dying late.
I need to feel the warmth of blood,
on my body and on my innocent words.
