Being Alone 2 Poem by Bindu Borle

Being Alone 2

Rating: 5.0

I can hear voices all around me
People just come and go
I hear someone walking by
I hear someone calling my name
Some I don’t know, a stranger
In this place- known yet unknown
Mood, music and magic
Shiny dance floor, feet all over
I turn around to look
To find faces so many of them
Trying hard to recognize
A face amidst this chaos
I think I lost him
Or was it my imagination
Or did he really was around me
Once again I am alone.

It is said there are seven similar persons in the world, the stranger in the poem may be one among the seven. May be it is a question of a mistaken identity.
