Being Famous Poem by Jerry Abrahamson

Being Famous

I have no great desire
On really being famous
I don't really want
To be in the limelight

I just do what I do
And stay out of people's way
And really value my privacy
To be the person that I want

If fame comes, it comes
But it's not what I 'm striving for
I just do what I do
And let the things that happen, happen
