Fame And Fortune Poem by Jerry Abrahamson

Fame And Fortune

Rating: 5.0

Don't you always think
About being famous
Or having a fortune
And how grand life would be

And, if you would be
Some great person in society
And, that what you do
Has changed life forever

But, when you look at it
Life like this isn't so grand
To have to look over your shoulders
In fear of someone trying to get you

And, we, with our little lives
Are always safe and sound
So, maybe we should be happy
Not having great fame and fortune
