Belate Birthday Poem by Ragy Sandid

Belate Birthday

Yourself included
Prepacked and ready
Shipped over
I don't need more
More frames
More cards
More late calls
More smiles
More bouquets
Just you
Telling me
I am the best
And remain so
And will be
That that won't change

So let's get the fake cake
And seem to blow
The painted candles
And put the colors
Side by side
I don't really need a birthday
I need a day
