Bend....Or....Don't Poem by Ragy Sandid

Bend....Or....Don't

Whenever there's wind, bend
Or….don't
Sooner or later it will end
You will or....you....won't

You can't sail the ship
If you can't take the wind
You can only make the trip
Knowing what's sent, can't rescind

You can't take the road
If you don't pack the bags
Check the whole load
In your mind everything is tagged

Rough winds and terrain a part
Of everything we count as bliss
Some fight with all their heart
Some see every pit an abyss

It's up to you to bend
And watch others who won't
A blank signature slot at the end
Only sign if you want

Some have survived the sea
And lived to tell that tale
Other's lives buried in mystery
Sparkle out but inward failed

So bend with the storm?
The brave ones don't
One day that becomes the norm
And so forth till it won't
