Belie Poem by Frank DeFulgentis

Belie

darkness belies
moments are derived
motionless
i stand
i realized
the turning point
at cocoa beach
despite the
contrite sunlight
and chasing smiles

as usual
i saw it in another's eyes
pictures don't lie

say goodbye
in the early evening
that belies
the afternoon
and the conscious flow
