never meant
to take my time
to leave you behind
sometimes
i don't know how
to escape
never meant
to do what you say
you were happy
the other way
i won't let the sky
swallow you up
never meant to
cause
a world of pain
to let darkness reign
you know
you were not meant
to be
i was never meant
for what i truly
desire
never did i fire
this up
do not imagine me
in the sun
do not kiss my lips
