Belief Poem by Mahathi Mydavolu

Belief

I've great belief. By chanting names your, more
And more I get immediate relief
From all this pain and agony in the core
Of my imbecile heart and mind in grief.

Man falters in the case of God, always.
I too I guess. His blind belief keeps him
Awake looking for sings. Again he prays
With tearful eyes and sings aloud a hymn.

Do hymns and mantras have a true effect? !
I guess I'm try'ng to build a bridge between
The earth and sky and scampering direct
Towards a bright mirage beguiled by sheen.

I still keep praying the God with some repulse.
And keep I doing so till stop my pulse.
