Bellydancer Poem by Justin Gildow

Bellydancer

Silver beads jangle from your sides
As you dance and saunter your way towards me
And these days, what's there for me to hide
Because I know you and you know me

I just love sucking the fragrance from you
It keeps me alive
You give me something to live for
Life these days seems like hell
But in you, by my side, it feels like heaven
You're never afraid of me
Or of the things I tell

So stick around me
Let me forget the world I've living in
For at least a few moments
