Bended Knees. - Poem by EDNA IPALEI
When I see you my heart skips a beat
I get confused, like a rat caught in a bait,
I whisper to myself that is my man,
How long will it take for you to be my man?
Your incredible boyish grin makes my heart pound,
Your gaze makes a cold chill run down my spine,
It hurts me, when you just shake my hand,
I want to embrace you; I want you to be mine.
I hate that I love you, for you know,
Your indifference towards my feelings kills me,
Oh my dear! What am I going to do now?
Come to my rescue am on my bended knees.
